Great Blog….!! i have a question does old versions of Popular browsers are compatible with CSS3 ?
Most popular (current) browsers support CSS3 but older ones generally don\’t. You can however use tools such as CSS3Pie to solve this in the case of internet explorer.
CSS3Pie will make IE slower than molasses. Avoid this at all cost and learn how to make your stylesheets degrade gracefully instead.
I think it really depends on the use case, Greg. I have seen CSS3Pie behaving in a stable manner on older versions of IE without any sluggishness, but if your page utilizes a large quantity of CSS3 declarations, this may be something that causes it to act up for obvious reasons. Here I would agree with you and say that opting for degradation would be the wiser option. Best judgment should always be used when making the call.
